High grades are only a part of what makes your college experience successful. Students should also strive to earn as much work experience as they can, and making connections with professors and other faculty. Working at part time jobs, campus jobs, internships, co-ops or research projects not only teach you skills such as communication, organization and time-management, but also reveal your personal strengths, interests and preferences.
I advise you all to make use of NC State's Career Development Center! They can help you write or improve your resume, practice interviews and prepare you for the career fairs that are held each semester on campus.
